BugsCEP includes a module for producing semi-quantitative habitat reconstrutions from stored sample data. The system uses habitat codes assigned to species to quantify the absolute or relative abundance or presence absence of taxa into the environments that they most likely represent.

This extremely useful for examining environmental change at a site over time.
